Another "Find" - Davis d'Ambly

1963 was the year Davis left CTHS as his family moved from Skippack to the Philadelphia Area. He graduated from the Tyler School of Fine Art and has been a Liturgical Artist and Designer for more than 35 years. Enjoy his website: www.liturgicalartist.com

Ain't Facebook great?  Found this current photo of

Julie Waldo Evcimen

The class of '68 got together over the Christmas Holiday, 2008.  Review the photo to the left first to ID folks on the the first slide. The photo to the left is a thumbnail so click on it and it will open enough to let you read all the names. Then use return arrow to come back here. Click here to link to a wonderful SMILEBOX link from John Pilecki.

Update from Wayne Schatz

Just a quick update from here.  I'm still working for Northrop Grumman and after 38 1/2 years I am ready to experience retirement. Maybe next year depending on election and stock market.
Son Bradley achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2006 and just completed his first trimester as a Plebe at Kings Point US Merchant Marine Academy NY.  He is in the 5th regiment USMMA Band and will be marching in the presidential inaugural parade in Jan. If you ever get to see them perform they are world renown; are organized along the lines of a British Military Band with the high sticking drums in front, and they are the only  one of the 5 federal academies who have a full cadet band.
Daughter Laura graduated from Salisbury Univ. last May with a Major in Spanish language and a minor in German.  She is back there now pursuing a Masters in TESOL. Right now I am scheduled to travel to Poland in May of 2009 to learn how to drive steam locomotives as a student engineer.

Frank and Jane McGough McKee visited Thanksgiving Week in Florida. FYI, she did the needlepoint you see behind us. Great visit!!

A new "baby"

Here are two pictures of Rick and Phyllis Hunsberger Cooper's newest family member:

Update from Jane McGough McKee

A CTHS VOICE from 1965
Only took 43 years to find her but we finally connected with Jane McGough (McKee) on October 25th. Many also remember her older sister, Linda, who was a member of the class of '65.
Jane moved to Indiana after our Jr. Year and was there until 11 years ago. 17 years ago she married Bill McKee and 11 years moved to St. Port Lucie, FL. She lives about 6 miles from Suzanne and Helmut Rothermel (but they never knew each other since Jane left summer of '65 and Suzanne came to CTHS in the Fall of '65.
Here's her information - she'd love to hear from you

A Skippack Voice from the past - March 13, 2008

I received a note today from Donna M. Saylor, who was with us until going to Christopher Dock School for 10th-12th grade. Her address is 238 Great Oak Dr, Nesquehoning, PA 18240. Here's a current photo.

NOTE From Mrs. Hyatt Thayer
Christmas, 2007
I'm so sorry that I did not make the reunion; while I may be handicapped I think I still have most of my wits. Don't ask me the law of cosines, though.
I still have the same e-mail address but my mailing address has changed to:
     1672 County Road I
     Somerset, WI 54025
I celebrated my 89th birthday on the North Shore of Lake Superior where my youngest daughter lives.
Best wishes to all of you.
     Janet Thayer
NOTE from FCB: Somerset is about 2 miles east of the WI/MN border, NE of St. Paul. I guess she could not handle the Minnesota winters!!

Email message from Ann Middleton Singley
June 25, 2007

Just an update in my life - my husband of 39 years passed away unexpectedly on April 21st.  He was fine the night before, we were out for dinner, and Saturday morning he got up and his heart just gave out.  It was a total shock.  I'm staying here in Ocean City for now, but am considering returning to Pennsylvania.
Will keep you posted if I do move.  Ann

Our best wishes and condolences to Ann and family. You can reach her at

Barbara Miller (CT '67) and her brother-in-law Helmut Rothermel at family wedding in Florida - 4/2007

Holiday Greetings from
Marcus and Sally Reichert

2007

Many thanks for letting us all know about Carol's passing. I remember her fondly. When I was a little kid I used to love to visit her father's shop on Main Street in Collegeville. Her mother was of course my (our) third grade teacher. So, all of the Clamer's were a big part of my life.
Attached (see right), the front and back covers of my new book -- available now on amazon.co.uk, and eventually on amazon.com. The blurb on the back makes me sound like some sort of a renegade when, actually, I'm quite a docile fellow and a real homebody! There are a lot of beautiful color reproductions by all kinds of marvelous artists, both painters and photographers.
I hope you and the family are doing fine.
Lots of love - Marcus

Several members of the class of '68 found out about our classof66 website and visited. Here is a photo of some of the women (part class of '67, part class of '68) who got together for a visit. Thanks to Leah Schlosser and Scott Giacobbe for getting the photo to me.
