Martin E. ‘Bear’ Levin
Martin E. Levin, 53, husband of Eileen A. (Kupeski) Levin, E.5th St., Boyertown, died Monday July 9th, at home, after an illness.
Mr. Levin was born on April 20, 1948, in Norristown, and was a son of the late V. Herbert and Florence R. (Gittleman) Levin. He was a 1966 graduate of the former Collegeville – Trappe High School.
Mr. Levin retired in 1996, due to a disability, from Geo. D. Lentz, Inc., Skippack Twp. where he was a commercial painter for over 25 years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Levin is survived by one daughter, Rachel A. Long, Altoona; one son, Joshua J. Levin, Sassamansville; three sisters, Merle McAllister, Narberth, Kay St. Jean, Woodbridge, VA, and Anne Sonne, Syracuse, NY; one brother, Jon Levin, Macungie; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 61 Morningside Dr., Warwick Twp., with the Rev. John Maher, Rector, officiating. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 61 Morningside Dr. Elverson, PA 19520; or the Living Hope Christian Center, 359 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320. Arrangements are by the Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Main St., Trappe.
