Clement S. ''Lefty'' Leftwich, 71, of E. High Street, Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, formerly of Bishop Road, East Coventry Township, Chester County, died Aug. 7, 2003 in Manatawny Manor, East Coventry Township. He was married to Helen A. (Bleiler) Leftwich for 53 years. A graduate of Moravian College and Lehigh University, he was a guidance counselor for the Perkiomen Valley School District for 35 years before retiring in 1985. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Clement S. Sr. and Myrtle (Engleman) Leftwich. He was a member of Augustus Lutheran Church, Trappe, Montgomery County. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a pharmacist's mate 3rd Class aboard the USS Bainbridge and USS Denebola. He was a member of George A. Amole American Legion Post 47 and Thomas P. Kaas Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 780, both of Pottstown. He was a life member of the Pennsylvania Association of Retired School Teachers and a member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association. He was a member of Pottstown Quoit Club; a life member of Liberty Fire Company, Spring City, Chester County. He was a former Scoutmaster for Limerick Township Boy Scout Troop. Survivors: Wife; son, Clement S. III of Reading; daughters, Debra A. Koch of Old Tappan, N.J., Sharon L. Smith of Newtown, Bucks County; sister, Ellen J.
